From the realm of the Unmanifested, an infinite Ocean of Light emerged as the first manifestation. From Light emerged an infinite Ocean of Consciousness. From Consciousness emerged the cosmos. Light IS God.

The plane of Light is called Parabrahma Loka. Consciousness that came out of Parabrahma was like a bubble coming out and breaking. This Consciousness divided itself into male and female energies. The male part remained as it is. The female part took the form of Devi loka.

With the combination of male and female energies, three divine cosmos namely, Shiva loka, Vishnu loka and Brahma loka were created. The works of destruction, sustenance and creation were entrusted to divine personalities - Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma respectively.

Light is the source of creation. The entire creation is made up of Five Elements or Panchabhootas. They are akasha (ether), vayu (air), agni (fire), jala (water) and prithvi (land). The creation also constitutes three qualities or the trigunas. They are sattva, rajas and tamas.

Lord Brahma created Brahmanda or the material cosmos with innumerable constellations, galaxies, stars, planets, varied life forms and all expressions of creativity. Material cosmos consists of 14 lokas. The 1st loka is the most spiritual and the 14th is the most materialistic in nature.

We ARE souls. We were in Parabrahma loka, like particles of Light in the ocean of Light. We experienced what God experienced simultaneously. We were as pure as God and had all his qualities and capabilities. Love and bliss were our original nature.

Freewill is the luxury of a soul to make a choice. When God created the divine cosmos and material cosmos, we wished to come and experience the creation. God cautioned us that we may get stuck up here if we experience beyond limit. At the same time, He did not come in between our free will.

PANCHAKOSHAS

During our journey through the divine cosmos we were given special sheaths or koshas.

We got this physical body after reaching this earth.

The five koshas are Annamaya Kosha – Physical body, Pranamaya Kosha – Vital body, Manomaya Kosha – Mental Body, Vignanamaya kosha – Intellectual Body and Anandamaya kosha – Spiritual body.

When souls descended from the Brahmanda or the material cosmos, traveled the path of Satya loka, Tapo loka, Jana loka, Mahar loka, Suva loka and Bhuvar loka in order to reach the seventh plane, our Earth or Bhoo loka.

During this journey from each loka, our mental body is fitted with the powerful energy gadgets called chakras. Hence we have seven chakras each representing the energies and knowledge of that particular loka. Chakras are the gateways to knowledge and energies pertaining to the respective lokas when activated. Energies can also be stored in the chakras.

The seven chakras are sahasrara, agna, vishudhi, anahata, manipuraka, swadhisthana and mooladhara. Each chakra is an entry or exit point for the soul’s ascent to different higher lokas.

Role of Divine

The soul which got engraved inside the pancha koshas, failed to remember its origin as it was clouded by limitations of the koshas surrounded one above the other. This caused ignorance and ego.

Also the soul experienced more and more and got caught in the web of maya, became addicted to the senses and violated the divine laws, forgot its true nature of love, bliss, peace and harmony.

With the excess of experience, the soul accumulated karmas. The soul lost all its faculties that they initially had and hence got disconnected from the divine and the divine nature. The soul takes a number of births to cleanse these karmic imprints, but still get stuck up here.

The Saptharishis have a special role and responsibility in guiding all souls. After the souls experience creation once or twice, it is their duty to remind the souls that it is time for it to go back.

Since the souls got entangled with maya, the Saptharishis devised special techniques of meditation and positivisation to clear the deposits or karmas and passed on these techniques through great Masters who come down as human channels or Gurus later.

Final freedom attained by the soul after the completion of its journey is called Mukthi or liberation.

A Guru is a spiritual guide. He takes full responsibility for guiding us and ensuring that we are liberated from karmas and the cycle of life and death. He initiates our spiritual journey, educates the purpose of life and most importantly helps us to lead a balanced spiritual and material lives with love, peace, happiness and positivity.
